DAYJOB: Finance: leaderboard
DAYJOB: Finance (Surge AI, 2026): 80 expert-designed finance assignments across corporate finance, banking, credit, investing and real assets. Each is a brief workplace request (81 words on average) backed by 25.7 input files on average and represents an estimated 16.6 hours of professional work. An agent works through the documents and spreadsheets in a sandboxed container (Harbor tasks, OpenHands-based harness, network limited to the model API) and delivers the finished analysis. Unlike FinanceBench-style question answering over public filings, the agent has to choose its own sources and approach: "Financial assignments often arrive without instructions for which sources to trust or how to approach the analysis. DAYJOB asks agents to make those decisions themselves." Work is graded against a task-specific rubric (median 57.5 criteria per task).
