What is collected, and for how long
| When you… | What is kept | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Open a page | The page and the model or benchmark viewed; the site you came from, on the first page of a visit; how long the page took to load; how long it stayed visible and whether it received any input; whether the browser identified itself as automated or as a known crawler. Visits are counted with a code made from a one-way hash of your IP address, browser and language settings and the date: it changes every day, so visits cannot be linked from one day to the next, and the IP address itself is not stored with these records. | About three months; daily totals up to 400 days |
| Make any request | Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps technical request logs (IP address, browser, address requested, time, response and an approximate location) used for debugging and security. IP addresses also drive short-lived rate limits on the data files, the API and the MCP server. | Logs up to 7 days; rate-limit counters minutes |
| Sign in with Google or GitHub | From your provider: your account ID, username (Google: your email address), display name and profile-picture link, kept in a session for 30 days. A separate account record keeps the provider, account ID, first and last sign-in and the number of sign-ins, and a marker for each day you sign in counts returning users. | Session 30 days; account record until you ask for deletion; daily markers 400 days |
| Save Builder presets | The presets you save, linked to your account. | Until you delete them or ask for deletion |
| Analyse a task in Task Explorer | The task you type (up to 1,000 characters) is sent to OpenRouter, which passes it to a Google Gemini model to estimate which skills it needs; signed-in use also counts your daily analyses. The site does not keep the text. If you enter your own OpenRouter key, it stays in your browser and travels only with your analysis requests. The site does not store it, but like any request detail it can appear in Cloudflare's request logs. Do not include personal or confidential information in a task. | Not kept by the site; request logs up to 7 days; OpenRouter's and Google's terms apply to their processing |
| Create a Task Explorer share link | The task text and its result, published at the link for anyone who has it. | Until you ask for removal |
| Report an issue | Your message, its type, the page address, any contact you add, your username if signed in and your browser's user-agent string. A one-way hash of your IP address limits how many reports can be sent per hour. | 180 days; the rate-limit hash one hour |
| Suggest a benchmark (signed in) | The benchmark name, link, metric, category and notes, with your username. | 90 days |
| Subscribe to the daily brief | Your email address, sent to Buttondown, which stores it and sends the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link. A one-way hash of your IP address limits sign-ups per hour. | Until you unsubscribe; the rate-limit hash one hour |
| Use the MCP server or data API | Nothing beyond Cloudflare's request logs and rate limits above: tool names, arguments and results are not recorded. | As above |
Stored in your browser
A sign-in cookie (__session, 30 days) and two short-lived cookies used while signing in
(__auth_state and __auth_next, 10 minutes). Local storage keeps your theme
and, if you enter one, your OpenRouter key. Session storage, cleared when you close the tab, keeps your
last Task Explorer result, page state for Back and Forward, and the time each page was last counted so a
reload is not counted twice. All of these are needed for features you use; none track you across sites.
Who processes data for the site
- Cloudflare: hosting, storage, visit statistics and request logs.
- Google and GitHub: sign-in, only if you choose it.
- OpenRouter, and Google as the model provider behind it: Task Explorer analyses.
- Buttondown: the newsletter.
The site's Telegram channel and X account are run on those platforms under their own policies. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards they offer, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Why it is used
To run and secure the site and to understand, in aggregate, which pages are read and where visitors come from (legitimate interests); to provide what you ask for, such as sign-in, saved presets, Task Explorer analyses and issue replies (providing the service); and to send the newsletter you subscribed to (consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its use, or a portable copy, by writing to mikhail@mikhaildoroshenko.com. Requests are answered within one month. Because visit records use a code that changes daily, they cannot be matched to a person and so cannot be retrieved for one. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and its date is updated.
